Concept
An outdoor room of concrete and glass, extending the original overhang.
Board-Formed Concrete, Tropical Hardwood, Low-Iron Glass, Polished Concrete are repeated without compromise, the addition reading not as an extension but as a continuation of the original gesture.
A continuation, not an addition. The overhang simply lengthens.
Belvedere extension to the Caldera Pavilion, completed in 2024 as a covered viewing room cantilevered toward the western horizon. The 80 m² addition extends the original's deep overhang into a pure outdoor room.
